Ola is a Nigerian Canadian, raised in Alberta, drawing comparisons between the Nigerian and Canadian cultures with a unique take on what it is like to also live in Vancouver. Ola takes his audience on a trip through his challenges and highlights the comedic aspects of each situation. Given his ability of storytelling, act-outs and unexpected punches, Ola will leave you wanting more. Ola has opened for international comedians such as Godfrey, White Yardie, Okey Bakassi, and Bovi. Ola recently placed runner up on Canada’s largest comedy competition SiriusXM’s Top Comic (2019). He has performed at Just for Laughs in Montreal, JFL42 in Toronto, and JFL Northwest in Vancouver. Ola was featured on CBC Gem’s ‘New Wave of Stand Up’ and records with 604 Records. Ola is the creator of multiple hit sold out shows Black Out Comedy Vancouver and Shake and Bake Comedy.
