Teaching by day and making parents laugh by night, Moe Ismail is an Egyptian-Canadian stand-up comedian bringing new levels of energy, diversity, and most importantly, authenticity to the entertainment space. Immigrating to Canada when he was 9 years old, Moe has been a center-stage comedian for the past 13+ years and has built nationwide recognition as a touring headliner across Canada. In 2022, he co-headlined Just For Laughs Toronto, and in 2023 was selected by the Canadian Academy of Film and Television to host the Prism Prize Awards. He has been featured on CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud and CBC’s The National. With his keen storytelling skills and fun-loving ambience Moe uses uplifting energy to connect audiences through laughter and relatable truths. Some of his more significant acts include opening for Colin Mochrie, Todd Barry, and Marc Maron, among others.
