
Originally from Thunder Bay, Bobby Knauff moved to Toronto in 2006 to pursue comedy. While attending the Humber School of Comedy, Bobby received the Brian Linehan award for artistic promise and since then has performed on The Fresh Meat Showcase at The Second City, was a semi finalist in SiriusXM Canada’s Next Top Comic (2013), won the 2012 Toronto Comedy Brawl and won the Comedian of the North Comedy Competition (2018). He has had numerous appearances on Much Music and MTV Canada and has toured across Canada headlining with Yuk Yuk’s. He has been part of the Sudbury LOL Comedy Festival, NXNE Music & Comedy Fest, JFL42 in Toronto, The Toronto Festival of Clowns, The Icebreakers Comedy Festival and The Big Sound Comedy Festival.
He has been the opening act for Maria Bamford, Big Jay Oakerson, Robert Kelly, Rory Scovel, Christina Pazsitzky, Greg Proops, Boyd Banks, Derek Seguin, hosted numerous times for Darren Frost & Kenny Robinson’s ‘Rank & Vile’ Show, toured with Marc ‘Skippy’ Price from Family Ties and most recently toured with Canadian legend Tom Green. In 2020 Bobby independently put out his first comedy album “Rock Bottom”, which is widely played on satellite radio and available everywhere. His second album “The Cat Man Let Loose” is set to be released in late 2025.
Bobby can also be seen in many commercials, guest roles on television and can be heard as a voice actor in numerous commercials and cartoons; most notably as the lead Luka in the CBC hit cartoon Kingdom Force. He is also one half of the sketch duo “The Two Sues” with the phenomenal Josh Stone and is a puppeteer with his puppet buddy Andre the Alien; who hosts his own talk show “That’s Comedy!” He now resides in Ottawa where he has been warmly welcomed as a sought-after talent and won the comedian voted Ottawa Comedy Awards “Best Headliner” three years in a row (2023-2025). Bobby enjoys talking about his minor accomplishments in the third person and also enjoys the company of cats over people.
